Accounting and Bookkeeping
QuickBooks is the industry standard for bookkeeping and it’s been the #1 accounting software I’ve used since 2001. We use their invoicing capabilities, expenses and income tacking, and many more features including their payroll service.
What I love best?

FloDesk
Email Marketing Software
Curious how we’re creating our gorgeous emails? Meet Flodesk. We were an avid user of two other platforms for years for my clients (Mailchimp and ConstantContact - and we still advocate for them!), but neither worked for what my Graphic-Poetry business needed.
What I love best?

Social Media Planning/Scheduling
Plan, visualize, and manage Instagram all in one place with Planoly. Trust me - I’ve tried a LOT of planning apps and this one I have actually felt it was worth paying for! Oh, and did I mention you can also manage your Pinterest with Planoly too? They have a free account so you can try it out, but I LOVE the paid features.
What I love best?
Saving hashtags. No more copying and pasting from my notepad app to my social media manger. It’s literally one click! I also store credits for styled shoots and other little captions I may want to use over and over again and not have to look up. Get 50% off your first month when you use my link.

eCommerce Hosting, POS, & Buy Online Buttons
Your search for an eCommerce platform should start and end here with Shopify. Period. We’ve played around with the DIY WordPress platforms, the Square.com online store, and using PayPal buttons….sure, they are really nice solutions that range free to very cost friendly, but if you want to really sell professionally online, make your store easy to navigate for customers AND save yourself the headaches of self-hosting, just choose Shopify.
What I love best?
The online store can also double as your website and blog. Everything works with social media selling. There are awesome free and paid templates and plug-ins for just about every business.
HostGator
Website Hosting & Domain Names
Want some really reliable hosting that uses sustainable resources? Yeah, we did too when Graphic-Poetry was looking for a web hosting service for our original website and for our WordPress clients. SquareSpace is very popular for it’s library of ready to go free template designs for an easy start up website most anyone can use. It’s the most popular option we recommend for clients seeking to have a website that’s dynamic, able to sell a small amount of products online, or have a simple blog. It’s also easy for our clients to make updates on their own once a design is handed over.
What I love best?
It’s a one-stop-shop for domain name, website hosting, and design that’s easy for novices to use, but has the tools for designers to really customize for a totally unique site.
